At Needles Eye Industries we supply four different types of Mettler Quilting Threads. Mettler is manufactured in Switzerland and its 100% cotton threads are known for their soft and lustrous qualities. Mettler threads are also safe to iron, colourfast and fade resistant, and easy to sew by hand or machine.

Below are the four types of Mettler threads that we stock:

Hand/machine quilting thread:
100% Egyptian long staple, mercerized cotton.
  • Article 135: Quilting, Ne 40/3 - 457m/500yds
  • Article 136: Quilting, Ne 40/3 - 150m/164yds
Hand quilting thread:
Extra strong quality, cotton wrapped polyester with waxed finish.
  • Article 137: Quilting waxed, No. 40 - 457m/500yds
