Q: Does the HomeQuilter assemble and disassemble easily for portability?

A: Yes, it’s actually very easy to both assemble and disassemble. The HomeQuilter Frame consists of 2 uprights, 2 tracks, 6 fabric bars and a top and bottom carriage. To set up the frame, you simply screw or clamp down your uprights to your table/board (clamp provided), screw down your tracks, position the wheels (already attached) on your bottom carriage into the tracks (which will allow your bottom carriage to slide left to right) and place your top carriage on. Your fabric bars simply slot into the corresponding holes in your uprights and are fastened into place with a locking clip. Disassembly is simply a reverse of this procedure and will take approximately 5-10 minutes.

Q: How do I setup my HomeQuilter Frame and Machine?

A: You will be provided with an owners manual containing individual photos of all of the contents provided. The manual also provides step by step photos detailing the assembly of your HomeQuilter Frame in very basic language, as well as instructional photos that demonstrate how to load your fabric onto the bars.

When you purchase a quilting machine, an online pin number is provided that gives you 24 hour access to service videos that demonstrate how to maintain your machine, as well as any basic queries you may have. E.g. Cleaning and Oiling, Replacing a Needle, Threading, Setting Tensions, Needle Bar Adjustments etc. From Monday to Friday we have a full time helpline and query operator available. You will be provided with the rep’s (for your particular machine e.g. Industrial 11”, 16” or Domestic) e-mail address and mobile phone number. These Reps own and use their machines every other day and have years of invaluable experience to assist you. Greg Schmidt, a highly trained technician is available for any technical queries you may have with your machine. Needles Eye Industries is also open on Saturdays from 9-4pm (Perth time).

Q: Is the HomeQuiter adjustable in size?
